Husband of a US Citizen wife had his I-601 extreme hardship waiver granted today. The US Citizen wife petitioned for her husband to become a lawful permanent resident. Because he entered the country illegally many years ago, he was not eligible for adjustment of status; therefore, he traveled to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico for his visa interview. The I-601 was presented in order to receive a waiver for the unlawful presence the husband accumulated over the last several years.

Because his wife would suffer extreme hardship if he were not permitted to move back to the United States, the US Government approved the I-601 and allowed him to immigrate to the US as a lawful permanent resident. He will be returning to Costa Mesa to live with his wife and children.

If you are in the US illegally and are married to a US citizen, The Nunez Firm can help you become a lawful permanent resident. Call The Nunez Firm today – 949-903-0088.
